Is RJ Playing Himself Out of NJ?

Jason Kidd says he\’s \”carrying the team right now.\” Vince Carter agrees, stating he\’s \”definitely our offensive leader right now.\” When the two top dogs of your team say that about the third player you know something is up. We all know RJ is playing great right now, fulfilling the potential he showed the year Kidd had surgery and VC was still a Raptor. That season Jefferson averaged 22.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4 assists a game, leading some to call him an All-Star player. This year (through 3 games though), Jefferson is averaging 26 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists a game while adding 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks to boot. So is RJ playing so well that he may be at the center of some future trade discussions?* It\’s obvious that right now the Nets would be 0-3 if it weren\’t for his nightly contribution, so I\’m not sure that it would be the smartest thing to trade him now, but later in the year, once Kidd, Carter and the rest of the gang start to turn things on and RJ\’s value is still at its peak, will Jermaine O\’Neal, Lamar Odom, Shawn Marion, or Andrei Kirilenko still be available, and more importantly, will the Nets still be interested in making a deal?
