In a repeat of the outcome of their last game against the embattled Knickerbockers, New Jersey came up short once again to lose their seventh game in their last ten. The final score: 94-86 in favor of the New York Knicks.

Nets\’ Coach Lawrence Frank resorted to the same starting big man lineup of PF Malik Allen and C Jason Collins that he\’s used all too frequently this year. Unfortunately, the \’Kiddie Corps\’ – rookie PF Sean \”Swat\” Williams alongside second-year man C Josh \”J-Bizzy\” Boone – didn\’t see enough action in this one to make a difference in the final outcome, though they did score 18 points and haul down 11 boards for the Jerseyites.

SG Vince Carter (24 points and seven assists) and PG Jason Kidd (18 points, seven rebounds and an equal number of assists) played well for New Jersey, but SF Richard Jefferson (14 points on only 7-21) had an off-night that was a key factor in the loss.

The Nets now return home to host the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, December 18. Popular former Nets\’ C Mikki Moore returns to the \’Zod to meet his old mates. The game gets underway at 7:30pm EST.*
