Phoenix, AZ, Jan. 20 — The Nets were \’running on empty\’ trying to contain the high-scoring Suns after falling to the Clippers in OT the night before. Six different Suns\’ players finished in double-digits as the Nets went down by as much as 18 in the first half and never got closer than 9 the rest of the way in losing to the Phoenix Suns, 116-92.

The details of this disastrous outing for New Jersey shall remain unreported here to spare you the gory details. Suffice to say, that if you are a Nets fan, you would have done well to miss the carnage.

The Nets have now lost five straight and six-of-seven. They get to try it again against the Kings up in Sacramento, Tuesday. The game gets underway at 10:00pm EST and will be broadcast on YES Network and NBA TV.*
