Pivotal Nets-Heat Game Most Expensive Ticket in March for Brooklyn

After a lengthy eight-game road trip that took up the majority of February, the Brooklyn Nets thought they would have some comfort returning home to the Barclays Center.

But a horrendous start to their home stand has sent the Nets staggering backward and out of the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Nets dropped their third straight, falling two and a half games back in the race for one of the final Eastern Conference playoff spots. More surprisingly, before the three-game skid, the Nets beat the team with the best record in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors, at home on March 2nd. The last game of the five-game stand is Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.

According to SeatSmart.com, the highest average Brooklyn Nets ticket price for a game this week is on March 11th when they face the Miami Heat at American Airlines Arena with a price of $123.58 and a walk-in price of $9. The Nets are two games behind the Heat in the standings, and the Heat are a half game out of one of the two available playoff spots up for grabs. The least expensive ticket is for March 14th when the Nets visit the Wells Fargo Center to play the Philadelphia 76ers with a price of $84.16 and a walk-in price of $12. If the Nets want any business in the playoffs, they cannot drop a game to the 76ers at this crucial juncture of the season.

SeatSmart.com will provide the best deals for Nets tickets or any other sporting event. Two Nets’ tickets for their home game against the Pelicans tonight in Section 24, Row 1 costs $435 on SeatSmart. VividSeats.com has the same seats for $507. The best deals for Nets tickets will come from SeatSmart.

Brooklyn is 4-5 since the All-Star break but is going to have to make a major push, and soon, to sneak into the playoff picture. This recent home stand has hurt their chances, but there still is time to make up the deficit in front of them.
